Approach to Mediation: My approach to mediation is facilitative whereby I seek to help clients move from conflict to problem solving through listening and various questioning techniques. I help people organize their issues, identify their interests and work together to develop sensible ways of resolving their disputes. I apply my mediation training and experience aided by my substantive knowledge from my legal background. I get the greatest sense of satisfaction when I see people change from combatants to collaborators and come away on amicable terms.
